Those interested in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with exercise, and still a party, are invited down to Zelienople this weekend.
The Zelienople Rotary Club’s 9th annual Shamrock Shuffle is Saturday beginning in downtown Harmony. It includes a challenging half-marathon at 7:30 a.m., followed by a 5-K at 10 a.m. and a one mile fun run at 11 a.m.
Hot soup, pizza, and other food- and of course green beer- will be available at the post-race party and awards presentation. All proceeds go to the Zelienople Rotary Club and service projects to benefit the community.
