A Kids’ Safety Carnival will be taking place this Saturday, May 21, 2016.
The carnival will be from 12pm-3pm followed by a concert from Isaac Cole, of American Idol fame.
In addition to the 30 different displays, there are a lot of activities planned including a poster contest, Life Flight will be on hand, Butler’s fire safety mobile unit will be on site, and fingerprinting for child safety will be taking place.
When kids arrive, they will be handed a bag of information and a sign. As they visit each ‘station,’ they’ll get the sign initialed and finally take them to a prize table.
The event is free at the Petroleum Valley Youth Center, which is off Route 68 just outside of Chicora before you get to Kepple’s Corner.
