The top administrator of the WPIAL is resigning.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Amy Scheuneman is stepping down as the executive director for the state’s largest district high school sports league.
Scheuneman took over as executive director last July, replacing former Butler Athletic Director Tim O’Malley.
She served as the first woman to hold the position.
It’s not known when she will be stepping down from the WPIAL.
