WPIAL Boys Soccer playoffs:
Mars defeated South Park 2-1 in an overtime shoot-out last night. They will face Montour in the quarterfinals Thursday.
South Park eliminated Freeport 5-1.
In Triple-A: top-seeded Seneca Valley will face Central Catholic Thursday.
WPIAL Girls Soccer quarterfinals Wednesday:
Top seed in Double-A Mars will host Waynesburg at 8pm.
In Triple-A: Seneca Valley will meet Peters Township at Big Mac Stadium in Canonsburg Wednesday at 8pm.
WPIAL Girls Volleyball playoffs begin Wednesday.
Seneca Valley will host Moon at 6pm in the Triple-A first round.
Freeport is the top seed in Double-A, and will host the winner of tonight’s game between South Park and Quaker Valley. That match will be Thursday.
