WPIAL Baseball Playoffs:
Wednesday:
–Knoch (10-7) will face Blackhawk (13-4) in the 4A First Round at Neshannock high school. Game time is 4pm.
Thursday:
–Butler (6-13) will face Peters Township (13-6) in Upper St. Clair at 7pm in the 6A First Round.
–Seneca Valley (12-6) fill meet Connellsville (9-6) at Fox Chapel high school at 4pm.
–Mars (10-8) will meet Fox Chapel (10-7) at North Allegheny high school in the 5A First Round. Game time is 4pm.
Freeport received a First Round “bye” in Class 3A. Pine-Richland and North Allegheny received First Round “byes” in Class 6A.
The WPIAL Lacrosse Playoffs begin tonight.
In Boys 3A:
Seneca Valley will host Canon-McMillan at 7pm in the First Round. Butler will travel to Peters Township at 7pm.
In Boys 2A: Freeport will visit Chartiers Valley at 7pm. Knoch will visit North Hills at 7pm. Mars received a First Round “bye”.
Girls 2A:
–Mars high school will host a doubleheader. North Catholic will meet Ellis School at 6pm. Mars will host Plum at 7:30pm in the 2A First Round.
