There will be a game seven in the Major League Baseball World Series tonight after the Chicago Cubs defeated the Cleveland Indians 9-3 last night at Progressive Field in Cleveland. The Cubs scored three runs in the first inning, then Addison Russell hit a grand slam in the third inning. He tied a World Series record with six RBI’s. Kris Bryant had a home run among four hits.
The Pittsburgh Pirates released their 2017 pre-season schedule Tuesday. The Bucs will play a 32-game schedule beginning February 25th. The exhibition schedule will conclude March 31st and April 1st in Canada with games against the Toronto Blue Jays at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium.
