A unique opportunity to see an interesting part of aviation history is flying into Butler next week.
The Wings of Freedom Tour will bring four of the most famous World War two bomber and fighter aircraft to Butler County Airport from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, and 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday.
A restored B-25 Mitchell, P-51 Mustang, B-17 Flying Fortress, and B-24 Liberator will be available for walk through tours and flights. Tours are $12 for adults and $6 for kids 12 and younger. The cost for a flight begins at $400.
