Three World Cup of Hockey team practices will be open to the public free of charge on Tuesday, September 13. Practices will be held at CONSOL Energy Center and the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry.
Team Canada, led by Sidney Crosby, Jonathan Toews, Steven Stamkos, John Tavares and Drew Doughty, will skate at CONSOL Energy Center at 11:30 am. Doors will open at the Trib Total Media Gate at 11 am.
Team Russia, featuring Evgeni Malkin and Alexander Ovechkin will skate at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex at 10:30 am.
Team North America, led by Matt Murray, Connor McDavid along with Pittsburgh products Brandon Saad, and John Gibson will skate at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex at 11:15 am.
Fans are reminded that there is limited seating capacity at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.
The four teams will play a pre-tournament doubleheader on Wednesday, September 14 at CONSOL Energy Center. Team North America will take on the Czech Republic at 3:30 pm, and Team Canada will face off against Team Russia at 7:30 pm. One ticket provides access to both games. The World Cup of Hockey tournament will be held in Toronto starting on September 17.
