Work is expected to begin this week on Mars/Evans City Road in Forward Township.
Crews will be working in two different places along the road: between Kline Avenue and Watters Station Road and between Watters Station Road and Van Buren Street. One bridge on that stretch will be replaced and another rehabbed.
Both bridges carry Mars/Evans City Road over a tributary to Breakneck Creek. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a temporary traffic light.
Work is expected to continue through the end of June.
