Work is continuing as scheduled on the new nursing facility on the main Butler Township campus of Butler County Community College.
Ground was broken on the new Victor K. Phillips Nursing and Allied Health building in October of last year. A $1 million donation from the late Janice Phillips Larrick along with large donations from others has allowed the $14 million project to progress with site preparation work.
The Victor K. Phillips Nursing and Allied Health building is being constructed on the southern portion of campus as part of a major renovation project. Even though it currently looks like a big hole with a lot of dirt, the actual building will start to be visible later this month.
Construction on the Phillips Nursing building is expected to be completed in the fall of 2023.
