Art pieces created by Butler County high school students will be on display later this week inside The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
Eighteen art pieces created by seven Seneca Valley seniors were chosen for a show titled “Stay Woke” which opens Friday. It’s a juried exhibition featuring art, live performances and art making activities.
The theme is based on activism, social justice and current events.
On display will be a painting by Erin Piotrowski; a painting by Mariah Harvin; paintings and mixed media work by Isabella Moosa; a drawing and mixed media work by Mackenzie Neff; a linoleum block print by Gracie Carothers; a drawing by Faith Luce; and photography byJack Reynolds.
Students were advised by Jason Woolslare, senior high school art teacher.
