A former Armstrong County woman pleaded guilty to stealing money out of a card addressed to a Cranberry Township resident.
April Kovach, 40, pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to a charge of theft of mail.
Authorities say Kovach took two $20 Federal Reserve notes out of a greeting card envelope while she was working as a driver for the U.S. Postal Service in Kittanning.
Kovach will be sentenced in October and could face up to five years in prison.
