A Pittsburgh woman is facing charges after allegedly failing to stop for police last weekend in Mercer County.
According to Grove City Police, officers were attempting to approach a parked vehicle Saturday morning at a parking lot on West Main Street when 35-year-old Kara Sergent took off.
Police attempted to stop her but accuse Sergent of leading them on a low speed chase that was eventually taken over by the Pennsylvania State Police. Police eventually used OnStar to disable the vehicle but Sergent allegedly still refused to comply and police had to force entry into her vehicle.
Sergent has been charged with Fleeing and Eluding Police, Resisting Arrest, and Traffic Offenses.
