Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an early Wednesday morning fatal crash in Butler Township.
It happened at 3 a.m. near the intersection of Pittsburgh Road and Hansen Avenue.
Police say the driver, a woman in her 20s, was headed north on Pittsburgh Road (Route 8) and somehow ended up in the oncoming lane. Her vehicle hit an embankment and flipped.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
