One person was taken to the hospital after a crash yesterday in Jefferson Township.
The two-vehicle accident happened around 11:45 a.m. on Route 356 at the intersection with Caldwell Drive.
State police say 86-year-old Peggy Loomis of Butler was pulling out of Caldwell Drive onto Route 356 when she collided with a car driven by 80-year-old Roberta Grondwalski of Natrona Heights.
Grondwalski’s car ended up in a nearby yard. She suffered injuries to her ankle and foot, and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Crews were on the scene for just under an hour.
