A local woman was injured as a result of a two vehicle accident earlier this week.
According to Butler Township Police, 22-year-old Kara Savage of Portersville was driving on Route 422 at Greenwood Drive Wednesday (7/6) just before 5 p.m. when she failed to stop for traffic.
Police say she then struck the backend of a vehicle driven by 55-year-old Diane McCormick of Prospect. Savage was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of head, neck, and back pain. McCormick was not injured.
Savage was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
