A woman from Eau Claire is behind bars after she was arrested in an undercover operation by police earlier this week.
According to the Butler County Drug Task Force, they were investigating 60-year-old Nora Barker of Eau Claire for suspected drug dealing. Police say they made contact with her in order to purchase heroin/fentanyl—which Barker called “Xbox.”
Police arranged to meet Barker Wednesday afternoon at the Walmart in Butler Township around 3:30 p.m. When she arrived, police found that she had two white stamp bags in her purse, a bag of suspected crack cocaine, and nearly $1,500 cash.
Barker was driven to the Walmart by Matthew Ealy, who was also questioned by police. He said that he had been the driver for Barker in other drug deals—which were usually in the area of the health center parking lot on Route 38.
