Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is still holding firm on his ideas for the state’s budget.
It’s now been 42 days without a state budget but the talking points remain largely unchanged.
In a meeting in Montgomery County Tuesday, Governor Wolf repeated his calls for significantly increased funding for education, property tax relief, and a severance tax on natural gas drillers.
Wolf is scheduled to sit down with Republican leaders again Wednesday to discuss the budget. They’ve been meeting on a weekly basis, but haven’t made any agreements that have been released to the public.
