WISR is celebrating its 75th anniversary.
It was this day in 1941 that WISR first went on the air. The station has remained locally owned and operated throughout the decades.
The Butler County commissioners will present WISR with a proclamation today. The Mayor of Butler Tom Donaldson presented the station with a proclamation Friday.
There will also be special guests on the ‘It’s Your Turn’ afternoon talk show on WISR 680AM Monday from 12:30pm to 2 pm.
