The Butler area did see its first snowfall of the year last night.
About an inch of snow hit downtown Butler, but most roads have been treated and are in decent shape. Crews still advise being cautious during the commute.
Overall, the 911 Center handled only one call for a vehicle accident, although there were some various “slip and slide” incidents on hilly roads in Butler.
Scattered snow showers are expected today, but no significant accumulation.
