Preparations are underway in Saxonburg as the town gets ready for the annual Winterfest this weekend.
The event is set for Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Main Street closed to vehicles from Mainstreet Bakeshop to Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Local businesses have teamed up to help plan activities throughout the day including horse drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, live music, and a scavenger hunt. There will also be over 50 food and craft vendors.
Visitors can park at the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company grounds with shuttle service available on the Saxonburg Area Rotary Club trolley.
