The weather has caused thousands and thousands of power outages, hundreds of downed trees, and other issues throughout Butler County.
Some 23,000 West Penn Power residents are without power.
Another 8,000 Central Electric Cooperative customers are in the dark.
The heavy ice on the trees has caused many limbs to fall across the road; some limbs have fallen on cars.
The Butler County 911 Center has been fielding hundreds of emergency calls throughout the overnight. There have been several transformer fires and explosions. Power lines are down county-wide.
The incidents are too numerous to count.
