Butler County is under a Winter Weather Advisory.
The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh issued the advisory overnight because of heavy snow squalls and blowing snow that was seen in parts of the county. Some areas did not see much overnight snow at all, while some areas saw a few inches. The advisory continues until 6 p.m. Friday.
Additional snow showers are expected through 10 a.m. Friday. Temperatures will likely top out at 30 degrees.
