
Area residents are invited out to an activity at Moraine State Park this week to enjoy the great outdoors.
Tomorrow (Monday), park staff will lead visitors on a winter hike on a three-mile section of the North Country Trail.
This hike will begin at 1 p.m. at the Route 528 trailhead just north of the Route 422 Prospect exit and continue for about two hours.
Participants of all ages are advised to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear as well as bring water and snacks. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.
