An anonymous Pennsylvania Lottery player deposited a winning ticket into a Salvation Army red kettle.
The ticket- worth $1,000- was dropped into a kettle outside an Erie Walmart last week.
Major Leslie Walter of the Erie Salvation Army said the organization has never received a donation of this size.
