All are welcome to a fun, nature filled walk this Saturday at McConnell’s Mill.
Beginning at 10:30am, event goers will be led on a two hour walk through Hell’s Hollow valley by members of the Botancial Society of Western Pennsylvania and staff. Some of the wild flowers that may be seen on the tour include violets, jack-in-the-pulpit, and trillium, among others.
The trail is less than one mile long, and starts at the Hell’s Hollow parking lot. Participants are permitted to bring a snack and water for the trail if they desire, and are encouraged to dress for the weather.
