2018 marked the wettest year on record.
The National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh says the city beat its previous record for accumulated rainfall by receiving 57.83 inches last year. The previous record was 57.41 inches set in 2004.
Data was only provided for Pittsburgh, and not the surrounding areas, including Butler County.
