Westinghouse Electric Co. based in Cranberry Township is expected to sign a big contract that will include the construction of six nuclear reactors in India.
President Barack Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the project announcement Tuesday and said the work is still arranging financing. The deal is expected to be signed next June.
In 2015, each reactor was estimated to cost between $5 and $6 billion.
