A western Pennsylvania native will perform the national anthem at the inauguration of President-Elect Donald Trump this afternoon.
Jackie Evancho, 16, is a classical singer who gained wide recognition at an early age after finishing in second place on the television show ‘America’s Got Talent.’ She has performed for President Obama in the past.
She grew up in Pine Richland. Her first singing competition was Kean Quest, the annual talent search sponsored by St. Barnabas Charities in Gibsonia.
