Some western Pennsylvania residents will experience The Royal Wedding this weekend without having to travel across the pond.
The Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh will give 240 guests front-row seats to the ceremony uniting Prince Henry and Megan Markle inside the center’s theater, The Rangos Giant Cinema.
The cinema boasts a 70-foot screen, a 4K laser digital projection system and surround sound. Attendees will even have a chance to snap a photo with a cardboard cut-out of Prince Harry in a special British-curated photo booth.
“It’s the whole experience of being in a royal wedding…but being in Pittsburgh,” Megan McKenzie, from the Carnegie Science Center, said in an interview.
Unfortunately, the event is sold out so if you don’t have a ticket yet, you might just be out of luck.
The Carnegie Science Center is one of four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, established in the late 1800s by Andrew Carnegie.
