Local gas prices are following regional and national trends and inching upwards.
The average price for a gallon of self-serve gas in Butler this week is $2.80, according to AAA East Central’s weekly gas price report. The average price in the region is $2.77. Last week’s regional average was $2.76.
AAA says Pennsylvania continues to tout some of the most expensive gas prices in the country and will likely trend closer to $3 per gallon this later this spring.
