A West Penn Power lineman helping to restore power in Florida following Hurricane Irma was injured Wednesday.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV, the 53-year-old man was shocked after coming in contact with a live line.
The man- who has not been identified- was among 40 West Penn Power workers sent to Florida. The crew has been primarily focused on restoring service to customers on the Golf Coast.
The man was reportedly transported to a burn unit. His current condition is unclear.
