A portion of the well-traveled Route 528 in Jackson Township will close Friday evening for road work.
Crews will be constructing a four-way intersection connecting Jo Deener Road, Tomlinson Drive and Route 528 in an effort to eliminate a sharp curve.
Jackson Township Manager Chris Rearick says the project is necessary to combat the increased traffic in the area.
Route 528 is scheduled to be fully re-opened by 6 a.m. Monday.
