The Pennsylvania Turnpike will be closed Saturday night into Sunday morning in Butler County for a bridge demolition.
The turnpike will close in both directions between the Butler Valley and Allegheny Valley interchanges starting at midnight. The closure is expected to last five hours with the roadway reopening at 5 a.m. Sunday.
Crews will be demolishing the Route 910 bridge over the turnpike at milepost 43.6. The work is part of the ongoing project to widen the turnpike to six lanes between the two interchanges.
