Police believe alcohol and speed were factors in a weekend crash that injured two people, including a child.
The T-bone crash happened Saturday afternoon on Route 38 (Oneida Valley Road) in Center Township just north of Marshall Offstein Auto Sales.
According to State Police, 46-year-old William Lamark of Allegheny County was driving a Ford Taurus when he crossed sideways into the oncoming lane while going around a bend. The other driver- 23-year-old Brittani Fedorek of Chicora- was unable to avoid the crash. Her Dodge Avenger was hit broadside.
Fedorek and her 3-year-old son were taken to Butler Memorial for treatment of injuries.
Lamark was charged with DUI.
