There’s been a small increase in the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Butler County.
According to the state’s daily update—the county now has 113 confirmed cases.
The state of Pennsylvania reported about 1,800 new cases—bringing the total to 16,239. The new data also shows that 310 have died due to the coronavirus in PA.
Over 82,000 tests have been negative.
Meanwhile, as of 10 a.m. Tuesday morning there were 11 patients being treated for COVID-19 symptoms at Butler Memorial Hospital—three of those patients are in ICU. That is a decline from five patients hospitalized and four in the ICU on Monday.
Butler Health System also says they’ve performed nearly 1,600 tests at Butler Memorial Hospital and over 300 tests at Clarion Hospital. The results of many tests have not yet been received but a total of 101 have come back positive so far.
All elective procedures and visits at all BHS sites will continue to be delayed through April 30th.
