Wednesday is the final day for candidates who have filed a petition to withdraw from the election.
Anyone who is running for office must file what are known as “Nomination Petitions” along with a Statement of Financial Interests.
Even if they submitted the petitions, candidates still have the possibility of withdrawing from a race, but it must be done before 5 p.m. today.
This year’s primary election is set for April 23rd in Pennsylvania.
