A longtime program on WBUT is coming to an end.
The buy, sell, and trade program Superstore is coming to a close after more than 50 years on the air.
The program first aired on WBUT back in 1964 under a different name with Guy Travagglio as host. At the time, callers would ring in with different recipes and other notes, essentially serving as a community platform.
It would eventually evolve into the Superstore, where callers would look to buy, sell, and trade items.
Pat Parker currently hosts the show.
While the Superstore comes to an end, the similar program Phone Party will continue Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. on WISR 680 AM and 107.5 FM.
