Some local residents are dealing with a loss of water service as a result of a water line break.
According to a representative of Pennsylvania American Water, a two inch water main broke early Friday morning.
Approximately 40 residences in the Highfield and Lyndora areas have been affected.
That service is expected to be restored sometime late this afternoon.
