Thursday Night Football:
–The Washington Football Team defeated the New York Giants 30-29 when Dustin Hopkins hit a game-winning 43-yard field goal on an untimed down. Hopkins had missed his first attempt to win the game, but the Giants were hit with an offside penalty.
Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke threw for 336 yards and two touchdowns in the game. Daniel Jones threw for 249 yards and a score for New York.
The Pittsburgh Steelers open their home schedule when they host the Las Vegas Raiders Sunday at Heinz Field. Kick-off is 1pm. Both teams enter the game 1-0. Hear the game on WISR.
