Here’s a reminder for drivers to keep an eye out for pedestrians while you are behind the wheel.
Butler City Police say on Saturday, January 9, 2016, a woman from Butler was pulling out of the 7-11 on Hansen Avenue making a left hand turn and accidentally hit a woman in a wheelchair that was attempting to cross the street.
No serious injuries came from the incident. The driver of the car said there was glare in her eyes that prevented her from seeing the woman crossing.
The incident happened around 4pm.
