With the ‘Butler Brushup’ fast approaching, the Butler County Historical Society is still in need of volunteers.
Butler County Historical Society Director Pat Collins says anyone can sign up to help and you don’t need any special qualifications.
This is a big event and wouldn’t be possible without the help of the community.
“We need help preparing and serving food, taking care of the work areas, providing ice and water to the artists,” Collins said. “We need to keep the city clean and provide the best environment we can for our artists.”
You can sign up to volunteer by visiting here or by picking up a volunteer form at the Butler County Historical Society.
The ‘Butler Brushup’ is a Walldog mural event. The Walldogs are an international group of sign painters and muralists that travel the country and paint murals in one town each year. The group will paint 10 different murals in downtown Butler July 27-31.
