There are only a few days left to register for this year’s Butterfly Release with the VNA.
This is an annual event for the VNA and it will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Preston Park, which is located at 415 South Eberhart Road in Butler Township. The event begins at 1:30 p.m.
There will be the release of the butterflies and also a reading of names for those who are being remembered or honored.
Kelly Connelly, a bereavement counselor with the VNA, told our radio station that this is an opportunity to remember and memorialize those that have already passed. Connelly says this serves a universal need when we’ve lost a loved one.
