Vintage baseball returns to Butler County this weekend, as the Allegheny Ironsides will take on the Butler Barons at Kelly Automotive Park in Butler.
This year’s event, which is the second vintage game in recent years, will focus on 1860’s rules and equipment. Entertainment inspired by the time will also unfold during the game.
The game will be played on Saturday, Aug. 25. Gates will open at 5:45 p.m., with opening festivities beginning at 6:50 p.m. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children, and can be picked up at either Kelly Automotive Park or the Butler County Historical Society. All proceeds will benefit the Historical Society and Historic Pullman Park.
