Veterans interested in leaving their mark on the Veterans Affairs facility currently under construction in Center Township need to act quickly.
A steel beam is on display at VA Butler Healthcare (off New Castle Road in Butler Township) and veterans and their families are invited to sign it through Tuesday morning. Then on Wednesday, the beam will be placed into the new structure during a “Topping Off” ceremony.
Chief of Facility Management for the VA Cherie Hawryliak said in March construction was on schedule and set to be completed in July 2017.
