Local veterans in mental health recovery will be displaying their artistic talents at VA Butler Healthcare Tuesday.
The community is invited to stop by the outside picnic shelter at VA Butler on New Castle Road in Butler Township between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to see paintings, drawings and sculptures done by veterans.
Attendees can vote for their favorite artists. The top three winners will receive an award.
Officials say art is a way to express yourself, communicate and heal.
