A local businessman and longtime active member of the community has died.
Richard “Dick” Vernon died Tuesday. He was employed by West Penn Power and Butler Memorial Hospital and, along with his wife, was the original owner of Minuteman Press in Butler.
He also founded the C.B. Rangers and was a founding member of the Tri-State Country Music Association.
Richard “Dick” Vernon was 85 years old.
