The Venango County District Attorney is expected to release the final findings in the shooting death of a man that happened back in December.
Police say 29-year-old Peter Spencer of Pittsburgh was shot and killed on a hunting trip with friends at a camp near Emlenton.
Four men were initially brought in for questioning, but were released soon thereafter.
According to his family, Spencer, who was a native to Jamaica, was the only black man on the trip. For months, his family has held vigils and prayer services to ensure this case wasn’t swept under the rug.
The press event is expected to begin at 1 p.m.
