We now have more details about the Monday morning accident on New Castle Road we first told you about earlier this week.
According to Butler Township Police, just before 7:30 a.m. 58-year-old Robert Stoey of Dubois rear-ended 18-year-old Cody Johnson of Butler near the Butler Senior High School. This collision pushed Johnson into a vehicle driven by 67-year-old David Martin of Ellwood.
Johnson’s 18-year-old passenger was transported to the hospital for treatment of a suspected minor injury.
Stoey was cited for a violation of Driving a Vehicle at Safe Speed.
