Vanderbilt defeated Michigan 8-2 last night in the deciding game of the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. The Commodores won their second national baseball title four appearances since 2011. The loss for the Wolverines ended a surprising run through the playoffs. They were one of the last teams picked for the tournament, then became the first Big Ten team to reach the final series since Ohio State in 1966.
